Motley Fool Next Index
A proprietary, rules-based index drawing from The Motley Fool's analyst/newsletter "recommendation universe." Eligible securities must be U.S.-domiciled, liquid companies — those trading at least $1 million worth of shares daily, on average, over the preceding three months. Membership is determined jointly with The Motley Fool 100 Index: the 100 largest qualifying companies by firm-level market capitalization form that index, and the remainder form this one, subject to continuity buffers that limit turnover around the size cutoff. Constituents are weighted by market capitalization, modified by diversification limits that cap concentrated positions. The index is rebalanced quarterly.
